Student Chapters

In furthering ASCE's mission, the Acadiana Branch serves as a liaison between our two Student Chapters -- the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and McNeese State University -- and the local engineering community. Students are invited to socialize with Branch members at our monthly Branch meetings, annual Christmas party and Spring crawfish boil, and continuing education events. The Acadiana Branch Board of Directors also keeps in touch with the Student Chapters through our student contact persons. Learn more about ASCE Student Chapters here.

RSVP: Please call the Civil Engineering Department at 482-6847 no later than Monday September 10, and “get your name in the hat”. For food preparation purposes, the Student Chapter needs to know if you are attending, and request a call confirming your attendance. There is no charge for this BBQ. Members may make a voluntary contribution to the Student Chapter if they so desire.
